OPAT Info:       

We will meet every Thursday from 3:20-5:00.  Every meeting your child can pick from the treasure chest.  On the last meeting of the month, your child gets to pick a free book. 

**You can also order from Scholastic.com.  I receive bonus points for every book that is ordered in my class.  Just take a look at Scholastic.com and you may find some good bargain books, I always do!  The instructions on how to do it are below.

If you would like to order from Scholastic monthly order forms, you can now do it from home.  Here is how to order on-line. 

1.  Go to www.scholastic.com/clubsordering

4.  Shop the current selection.

5.  Order your selection and pay for it.

6.  Your order will show up for our class on my scholastic account.  No one else will see your order.  Myself or anyone else will not see your credit card number.  I will deliver your books to you in class, when they come in.  Our class will earn bonus points for every book that you order, which really helps build our class library.  I really appreciate your interest and time that you have put in to help your little cutie pie!

Information about OPAT:

 You are probably asking what is OPAT?  OPAT stands for Oklahoma Parent's as Teachers.  This program is for birth to schoolage children in the Colbert, Cartwright, Platter community.  We have weekly classes for any child that is birth to schoolage.  These classes are free to the community, provided to you by the Colbert Public School.  My name is Amy Blackshear and I am the teacher for this program.  I have been doing this for ten years.  We offer free playgroups and school readiness classes for anyone in our community that has a little one from birth to schoolage children. 

We offer a free after school program-School Readiness/OPAT. 

This class is for any child from birth to school age. 

We meet on Thursday's from 3:20-5:00. 

The main goal of this program, is to get your little one in a social environment.  They get to play with one another and learn valuable social skills that are needed when they start school.  Also, you will get to talk with other adults and have a little social time yourself.
